Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was reportedly said to work on her next film with Pradeep Sarkar which is a biopic of a courtesan-turned-actor Binodini Das.The film is said to be an emotional drama and was supposed to be made on a big budget.
But the latest update is that this film which was supposed to start by now has now been pushed to 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.It is a known news that Aishwarya and her family were recently positive for corona and the news is that Aishwarya has requested the makers that she will shoot for the film sometime in the middle of next year.
Binodini Das, also known as Notee Binodini, was a Kolkata-based, Bengali-speaking renowned actress and thespian.She was a courtesan who began working as an actor at 12 years old until she turned 23.She also wrote her own biography, Amar Katha (The Story of My Life), which was published in 1913.
Speaking to a daily, Pradeep Sarkar said that he will likely begin the project in March 2021 depending on the situation.
As of now, he is hoping there’s a vaccine available by next year.On the work front, Aishwarya will also be seen in Mani Ratnam’s next big-budget film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.Stay tuned for more updates!
