New Delhi, Aug 23 : A staggering 96.5 percent of the recruiters working at Indian startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India believe that the use of AI is one of the most effective methods to improve the process of recruitment and remove bias in hiring as a study revealed on Tuesday.About 50 percent of recruitment professionals believe AI will be a standard element of their recruitment process in the next few years according to a report from the direct hiring platform that uses chat Hirect.
While 52 percent of recruiters believed that building an inclusive workforce is essential to reduce the massive gap in the proportion of women in the leadership positions, 97.4 per cent of them believe that hiring on the basis of skills is the way to go.
About 87 percent of recruiters are “in favor of keeping old employees rather of employing new hires”.
“In the market driven by employees employers must quickly adjust to the current realities of the acquisition of talent to remain competitive in the current labor market.” declared Raj Das, Global Co-founder and CEO of Hirect India.
