Station Ghanpur BRS MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah took charge as the State President of Rythu Bandhu Samiti on Monday.
Rajaiah expressed his special thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for reposing faith in him and giving him the opportunity.
He will serve as the President of Rythubandhu Samiti for two years. He was greeted by farmers and his close associates for the elevation.
Rajaiah, who represents Station Ghanpur, was accommodated on the post after he was replaced as candidate from the constituency with MLC Kadiam Srihari.
It is to be noted that Rajaiah was the only sitting MLA.who was denied a party icket from among the 12 Assembly segments in erstwhile Warangal district. The Station Ghanpur ticket has been allotted to MLC Kadiyam Srihari. Both were in a show of strength.Although the party working president K.T.Rama Rao tried to settle the issue, Rajaiah did not calm down.To put an end to this row, Chandrashekar Rao recently announced the corporation chairman post to Rajaiah.
But before taking charge as the president of RBS, Rajaiah said that many party leaders were feeling insecure.
The leaders are afraid to participate in meetings and the activists are not putting up flexies nor playing drums and kolatams.
