Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is getting ready for his next film, “Leo,” and he mentioned in an interview that he might collaborate with Prabhas for a future project.This is exciting news because Lokesh’s filmmaking style and Prabhas’s grandeur would make for an intriguing combination.
Lokesh Kanagaraj shared this during an interview about his upcoming film with Thalapathy Vijay, following their successful collaboration in “Master” in 2021.However, there’s a bit of a bittersweet aspect to this news as Lokesh revealed that he plans to make only ten films in total.This makes us more eager to see his upcoming works.
It’s worth noting that “Leo” will be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), hinting at more interconnected stories in the future.But Lokesh’s next project with Rajinikanth, titled “Thalaivar 171,” will be a standalone film and won’t be part of the LCU.After that, Lokesh is set to work on “Kaithi 2” with Karthi and “Vikram 2” with Kamal Haasan.
Additionally, Lokesh is expected to collaborate with Suriya for a spin-off film based on Rolex, which would be his ninth film.This makes the potential Prabhas project his final one.
About “Leo,” it’s directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and marks his second collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay.The movie is set to release on October 19 and promises to be an action-packed gangster flick, showing Vijay in a never-seen-before avatar.
Vijay will portray dual roles as Parthiban and Leo Das, with Trisha Krishnan joining the cast as Parthiban’s wife after 15 years.
Sanjay Dutt plays the primary antagonist, Anthony Das, and Arjun Sarja is cast as Harold Das.The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, and others.Anirudh Ravichander is in charge of both the songs and the original score, adding to the anticipation surrounding this highly-awaited film.
