During the energetic music launch event of “Chandramukhi 2” in Chennai a few days back, the cast and crew were excited to interact with the media and fans.

Comedian Vadivelu and Lyca Productions’ producer Subaskaran engaged the audience with their presence and playful banter.However, things took an unfortunate turn when a group of overly enthusiastic students faced rough treatment from the bouncers on duty.
A couple of students were reportedly manhandled by these bouncers, causing discomfort for the actors and organizers.
Responding to the situation, popular actor Raghava Lawrence, known for his philanthropic initiatives, took to Twitter to offer a heartfelt apology.
He expressed his disapproval of the altercation and urged everyone to exercise caution.
In his tweet, Raghava Lawrence stated that he recently learned about the incident that occurred during the “Chandramukhi 2” audio launch.
He clarified that neither he nor the organizers were aware of the incident since it happened outside the venue while the event was ongoing inside.Lawrence emphasized his strong affection for students and his desire to see them prosper.
He condemned fights of this nature and advocated for happiness and peace everywhere.The actor extended a personal apology for the incident and requested the bouncers to refrain from such actions in the future.
“Chandramukhi 2” serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2005 horror-thriller starring Rajinikanth and Jyotika.Directed by P Vasu, the film features Kangana Ranaut, Radhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, and Ravi Mariya.Its official release is scheduled for September 15, 2023, in five different languages.
