The Jana Sena chief hoisted the national flag at the party office in Mangalagiri to mark the 77th Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday.

Addressing the women activists at a meeting, he advised them not to be worried that the ongoing welfare schemes would be stopped if the YSRCP government led by Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy is voted out.

“It doesn’t matter. Our government would initiate welfare schemes that would be better than those being offered to you by the present government,” Pawan Kalyan said.

He said women should be empowered socially, financially and politically.“I wish to help them become industrialists too.” He advised them to teach their children how to fight against injustice and illegal activities.

Deploring the way the commoners were unable to get justice despite having a strong legal system in this democratic country, he vowed to conduct a people’s court and put the YSRCP leaders on trial for their illegal activities.“We would also bring to the notice of the people how their acts were even violating the constitutional norms.”

He alleged that the crime rate under Tadepalli police station limits, right near the CM’s residence, was very high.“Whenever JanaSena party supporters took up an issue, the YSRCP leaders targeted them instead of providing justice to the victims.”

Referring to his recent statement that 30,000 girls and women went missing from AP, he said this was confirmed in Parliament itself. He slammed the government for failing to hold a review meeting on this issue.

Pawan Kalyan said the CM was ignoring the directions from courts in several cases and alleged that several political leaders were making huge money through dubious means. He flayed the YSRCP for levying taxes, including on waste, to cause trouble to the people.
