Telangana BJP top leaders will start Rythu Bharosa Yatra in the flood-affected areas across the state on July 31.
BJP state president and Union Minister G.
Kishan Reddy, BJP national vice-president D.K.Aruna and Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy will tour the erstwhile Nizamabad district and interact with the rain-hit farmers.
State BJP elections management committee chairman Etala Rajender will visit Kogdur, Dahegaon, Maniyarpur, Khangarpur, Bedoda, Sangli, Umri, Khapri, Karanji, Anandpur, Deepaiguda villages and interact with the rain-hit farmers in Jainad and Bela mandals in Adilabad Assembly constituency.
Former BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Gaddam Vivek will tour the flood-affected villages in the erstwhile Karimnagar district.
Telangana farmers have reaped tremendous gains, according to Union minister G.Kishan reddy, with MSPs rising by an average of 60% to 80% since 2014.This is particularly true for commodities like sunflower and cotton.
“The MSP for cotton has increased by 75% since 2014 to support cotton farmers and develop telangana handlooms and textiles.The increase in MSP for rice and maize by almost 60% since 2014 has helped the annadatas because it is the second-largest paddy producing state, Kishan Reddy added.
