Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely make a visit to New Delhi on July 4.According to sources, that during his two day stay in National capital, Jagan may meet Prime Minister on July 5.
He will also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other union ministers including Jal Shakti Gajendra Shekawat and Nirmala Seetharaman.While speculations are on in social media that YSRCP may join NDA as a partner, YSRCP leaders have denied any such move.
The Chief Minister is expected to request the Finance Ministry to ask Telangana to clear dues to the tune of ₹6,756.92 crore towards power supplied by AP Genco to Telangana Discoms, as the issue was brought to the notice of the Central Government many times now.AP Genco was facing financial difficulties and the release of the dues would be helpful.
Recently Jagan Mohan Reddy, was in New Delhi on May 26 (Friday) to attend the NITI Aayog general council meeting held on May 27 (Saturday).
The Chief Minister met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss various issues relating to the State.He thanked the Union Minister for releasing over ₹10,000 crore towards the revenue deficit and pending dues to Andhra Pradesh.
He also participated in the inauguration program of the new Parliament building by Mr.Modi on May 28.
