Actress Kajal Aggarwal, known for her role in the movie ‘Singham,’ recently revealed the title and first teaser of her upcoming action film.The film is titled ‘Satyabhama,’ and Kajal will be seen portraying a police officer in it.She took to Instagram to share the film’s poster and captioned it with excitement, mentioning that it is something she has never done before.The film is directed by Akhil Degala and appears to have a strong female lead character.
As soon as Kajal released the poster, her fans flooded the comment section with expressions of admiration, using red hearts and fire emoticons.One fan exclaimed, “The QUEEN is back,” while another wrote, “Maasssss one.” The fans’ excitement and anticipation for the film were clearly evident.
Recently, Kajal appeared in a Tamil horror film called ‘Karungaapiyam,’ but unfortunately, it failed to impress the audience at the box office.Directed by D Karthikeyan, the movie also starred Regina Cassandra, Janani Iyer, and Aadhav Kannadasan in significant roles.
Kajal’s next project is director Shankar’s highly anticipated film ‘Indian 2.’ This movie features legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simhaa, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in pivotal roles.‘Indian 2’ is a sequel to the 1996 film of the same name.However, the shooting of ‘Indian 2’ faced a tragic incident when a crane collapsed on the set near Chennai in 2020, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to ten others.
‘Indian 2’ features renowned composer Anirudh Ravichander and a talented team of writers, namely Jayamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravanakumar.The film’s first poster was revealed during the Pongal festival in 2020.While a major part of the shooting took place in India, the team intends to travel to Taiwan to capture important scenes for the movie.
