Viveka Murder Case : CBI court adjourns hearing to June 30

Former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case trial postponed once again.A hearing was held in the CBI court on Friday morning regarding this murder case.

CBI produced six accused – Gangireddy, Sunil Yadav, Uma Shankar Reddy, Devi Reddy Siva Shankar Reddy, YS Bhaskar Reddy and Uday Kumar Reddy were produced in the court by the CBI officials.

The CBI court adjourned the next hearing to June 30.With this, the authorities took the accused back to Chanchalguda Jail.After the remand of six remand prisoners in Chanchalguda jail ended, the police produced them in the CBI court today.

During the hearing, the court extended the remand.On the other hand, another accused in the case, Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, is out on bail.

As per the orders of the Telangana court, he is attending the hearing before the CBI officers every Saturday.

The court on June 9 rejected the bail petition of Bhaskar Reddy.

He was arrested in Pulivendula town of Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh on April 16 and brought to Hyderabad the same day.

Meanwhile, it is known that the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to end the investigation of Viveka’s murder case on June 30.

Vivekananda Reddy, uncle of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy, was murdered at his residence in Pulivendula on March 15, 2019, weeks before the elections.
