CM Jagan Announces Several incentives For Machilipatnam

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday announced several sops for Machilipatnam, where he addressed a public meeting and launched the works for a new port.

Among these was the sanction of a road-over-bridge that would cost Rs 25 crore.

It would come up near the government medical college to help passage of vehicles, especially the 108 Ambulance freely.The location of a railway gate near the college had restricted the movement of vehicles along the route.

Another announcement was the sanction for construction of six community halls at a total cost of Rs 3 crore.The CM also sanctioned repair works for the Ambedkar Bhavan at a cost of Rs 5 crore.

Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the district collector to try and resolve disputes as the survey was completed in 12,615 acres of land located in 12 villages, so as to issue pattas to the beneficiaries.The collector would identify the beneficiaries for grant of pattas in assigned lands and also in the lanka lands.

The CM announced the sops for Machilipatnam based on a request from the local MLA Perni Venkataramaiah.Earlier, Venkataramaiah, a former minister, hinted at his retirement from politics.

He was addressing the public meeting in Machilipatnam to mark the Bhumi Puja for the Machilipatnam Port by the Chief Minister.

The legislator was given the chance to address the public before the CM.When he was continuing his speech, he was reminded that the CM was waiting to address the public.Perni said he had to explain several things as he was retiring from politics and might not find another chance to share the dais with the CM.The CM accepted his request to continue with his speech.

The legislator said the people in Machilipatnam would keep Jagan Mohan Reddy in their hearts forever for the good things he did to Machilipatnam.
