A software employee died on sunday while playing cricket as was his weekend routine for quite some time.According to his brother, the deceased identified as Marripudi Manikantha, 26, batted his turn and bowled an over when he complained of back pain.
He went to take a rest in the car.
However, later, when his teammates went to wake him, he did not move.Petrified, they immediately shifted him to a local government hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Manikantha originally hails from Ongole in Prakasam district.
His body has now been shifted to Osmania Government Hospital for further inquiry into Manikantha’s death.Manikantha’s brother was staying in KPHB and studying a software course.
Manikantha shifted to Hyderabad and was living in a hostel in KPHB and working as a software employee.
His brother shares that he and Manikantha would play cricket with friends during weekends and this time was no different.
Manikantha had gone to Maheswaram’s Ghattupalli KCR stadium to play the match.
The incident follows a series of cases where people dancing or celebrating at various functions died suffering sudden cardiac arrest.
