Mahesh Tilekar, a filmmaker known for directing Marathi films, has accused Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan of disrespecting her fans and even ignoring a co-star.In a long social media post, he recounted an incident from eight years ago when he and his Marathi troupe saw Kareena at the airport.
He mentioned that Kareena ignored a fellow actress who had worked with her in the past and did not respond to fans who wanted to interact with her.Mahesh also said that stars only mingle with their fans to promote their films and shows.
Mahesh also mentioned that Radhika Apte, another Bollywood actress, does not like giving autographs. However, he pointed out that stars do not have any problem interacting with fans when promoting their work.
Recently, Radhika Apte was seen clicking selfies with social media influencers while promoting her Hindi film, which contradicts her earlier statement.
Mahesh believes that celebrities should show basic decency towards their fans and not be arrogant.
He referred to an incident narrated by Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, where Kareena ignored her fans while travelling.Mahesh questioned the usefulness of such arrogance.
This incident has come to light when the internet is supporting Kareena for politely declining a fan’s request to touch her hand.Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan were on a dinner date in Mumbai when a fan tried to touch her hand.
Kareena smiled and greeted her but declined the request politely.

Kareena has a busy schedule with multiple films in the pipeline, including Hansal Mehta and Sujoy Ghosh’s films and Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew.
