Thiruvananthapuram 13th September : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be on two-week trip to Europe in October.During this time, he will meet with experts for an eventual collaboration in the area of education.The CM together with an entourage of officials and ministers are expected to meet with the team of experts from Finland who were in Kerala in connection with the development in education.
According to sources the Chief Minister is set to travel to London, Norway and Finland.
In addition, the visit comes in a time when the state is going through a very rough patch financially.
For the internet’s users the chief minister’s planned Europe trip will bring back fond memories of his Netherlands trip to learn about the management of the crisis of flooding, which is known as the project “Room for River’.
In defense of the chief minister, the Finance Minister of the state K.N.Balagopal denied his critics as “needless”, saying that visits of these kinds are necessary to research the most recent trends in the world.
