Guwahati 12th of September : Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday unleashed a new attack at the Congress over a tweet from the party.The Congress tweet read: “To free the country from the chains of hatred and to repair the damage caused by the BJP-RSS.As we move forward, we’ll get there.”
The group also shared a photo of an incompletely burned RSS uniform, and announcing that “145 days to go”.
It was a reference to the amount of days left to the conclusion of the party’s ambitious ‘Bharat Yodo Yatra’.
Responding to the post the Chief Minister wrote: “Such a shameful tweet depicting such a shambolic mindset.Congress Party is not even concealing its true intentions.In the guise of “Bharat Jodo”, it is luxuriating in “Bharat Todo.”.India will not accept their motives of harming nationalists!”
Sarma previously criticized Rahul Gandhi in the course of the campaign, saying that the top Congress leader ought to have travelled to Pakistan to launch the yatra because his party was the one responsible for the split.
