New Delhi, Sep 12 : India on Monday announced 5,221 new Covid instances in the last 24 hours, compared to the previous day’s 5,076 cases according to Union Health Ministry data.The same time there were 15 more deaths related to Covid that brought the death toll up in the 5,28,165 range as per the report.
In the meantime, the active caseload has dropped to 47,176 cases.This accounts for 0.11 percent of all positive cases.
The recuperation of 597 patients in the last 24 hours brought the total to 4,39,252,239.Thus, the rate of recovery is 98.71 percent.
While India’s Daily Positivity rate has slightly increased to 2.82 percent, while the weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 1.72 percent.
Additionally, in the same time period in the same time frame, there were a total of 1,84,965 test were conducted across the country, bringing the total number to more than 88.95 crore.
As of this morning, Covid-19 vaccination coverage had surpassed 215.26 crore.
More than 4.06 million adolescents have been vaccinated with the first dose of Covid-19 since the beginning of vaccination drives for this age group.
