Chennai 12th Sep : The director of earthy Tamil films, V.Gouthaman, popular for projects such as “Kanave Kalaiyathe'” and Magizhchi”, is making his debut with a film about Tamil virtues and valours of the past.He is producing and directing the film called “Maveera.”.The movie is made by V.K Production Group.Director V.Gowthaman assures that the film, which highlights the courage, strength and warmheartedness of the Tamils will be able to connect with everyone of the public, and will impress all segments and be a huge hit.
In announcing more details about the film ‘Maveeran’ he declared: “My lifetime aim is to share with the world a complete and uncompromising historical record of those who fought in Santhanakadu, Mundhirikadu and Vannikadu regions that are inseparable from history of Tamils.The film ‘Maveera’ tells the epic tale of an authentic hero who stood up for the land and honoured the honour of the people.”
In his next interview, he expressed happiness over G.V.Prakash taking over the reins of the music right after he had heard about the incident.”I am extremely grateful to Vairamuthu the ‘Kavipperarasu’ who has been my supporter in all my work and for recognizing my decision to take on Maveera.He declared that the film would make Tamils living across the globe proud.He has also released the world a song that is powerful (Pulikodi enga Kodi, naanga Boomi Pandhin aadhi Kudi) which will be praised by the world’s Tamils,” he said.
Vetrivel Mahendran is in charge of cinematography of “Maveera,” directed by Vetrivel Mahendran.Balamurali Varman has written the dialogues.
Mayapandi is the director of art”Stunt” Silva choreographs the fight scenes, Raja Mohammed is in charge of editing, and Nikil Murukan handles the public relations.
The names of the leading actors and actresses that will make up the cast of the film will be announced in the near future director V.Gowthaman said.
