San Francisco, Sep 11 : Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is likely to work on an enhancement that will add an additional camera shortcut for iPhone users who use their app.According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has submitted an update via the TestFlight beta Program that brings the version to 22.19.0.75.The version listed in WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.19.75 and the TestFlight version is 22.19.0.
A screenshot revealed the camera shortcut located in the navigation bar, and will be visible for those users who have the potential to already form communities in the near future.
It’s exactly like the one that was implemented in WhatsApp beta version for Android (but because of an issue, it has been temporarily deleted in an update) according to the report.
Since the shortcut is currently in development, it’s currently not available to users as WhatsApp plans to launch it in the next update of the app, the company said.
This month, an article said that WhatsApp is developing a new feature designed for companies to manage chats on their connected devices in an future subscription service offered by WhatsApp to businesses.
With a new subscription plan, WhatsApp Premium users can avail additional features like the possibility of creating an individual business link and connect up to 10 devices with their accounts in the near future.
