New Delhi, Sep 11 : Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has arrested a person whose name is Dortse Director of Jillian Consultants India Pvt Ltd after searches and seizures took place at the premises in Gurugram, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.Dortse was trying to flee India by land when he was detained in Bihar.According to the Ministry of corporate Affairs, Dortse (the name that was revealed by authorities) is the brains behind of an organized crime syndicate that includes many of corporations with Chinese connections in India and putting fake directors to their boards.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday following searches carried out on the 8th of September in the office of Jillian Consultants India Private Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jilian Hong Kong Ltd.The company is located in Gurugram, Fininty Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru as well as Husys Consulting Ltd, an earlier listed company in Hyderabad according to a ministry statement said.
Dortse was found as a resident of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh according to the documents made with the Registrar of Companies (ROC).
The evidence gathered during the investigation conducted by ROC Delhi and the simultaneous search operations clearly point to Dummy Directors getting paid by Jilian India Ltd.to play the role of Dummies in various shell companies, sources claimed.
Boxes packed with corporate seals as well as digital signatures of fake directors have been found on the site.
The Indian employees were in contact with their Chinese counterparts via the Chinese instant messaging application.
Husys Ltd was also found to be acting on behalf of Jilian India Ltd.
Initial findings confirm the fact that Husys Ltd.had a agreement with Jilian Hong Kong Ltd.
The investigations so far have revealed the potential involvement of these shell companies in serious financial crimes that could be detrimental to the security of finances of the nation.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, under the aegis of which SFIO is a part of, had given the task of investigating of Jilian Consultants India Private Limited and 32 other companies to SFIO on September 9 2022.
Dortse and one Chinese national are the directors in Jilian Consultants India Private Limited.
Based on the information gathered and the investigations conducted it was concluded that Dortse was a refugee from Delhi-NCR to an isolated area in Bihar and was trying to escape India via the road.
Then, a team was formed in SFIO which was then sent to the remote location.
On the weekend, SFIO arrested Dortse, who was later brought before a judge in the court of jurisdiction and his orders for transportation were issued according to official sources.
