Istanbul 10th of September : Four buses collision on a fast transportation route in Istanbul caused at least 42 injured according to Turkish state media.According to the state-owned Anadolu Agency, two buses first collisions occurred head-on in the designated Metrobus route, before being caught by two others who did not stop on time.
“All of our (42) injured citizens have been taken to nearby hospitals to receive treatments,” Xinhua news agency quoted Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya as saying in an official statement issued on Friday.
The bridge that crosses the Bosphorus Strait, the Metrobus is a 50-kilometer rapid transit route that connects Istanbul’s Asian side and its European side.
It is able to carry more than a million people each day.
