New Delhi, Sep 9 : India reported 6,093 fresh Covid infections in the last 24 hours, compared to 6,395 cases the previous day the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.In the same time frame there were 31 more deaths attributed to Covid brought the death number to 5,28,121, as per the report.
The active caseload has slowed to 49,636 cases.This accounts for 0.11 percent of all positive cases.
Recoveries of 6 768 patients in the last 24 hours increased the total to 4,39,06,972.Thus, the recovery rate is 98.70 percent.
The daily Positivity rate has slowed to 1.93 per cent, whereas the weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 1.88 percent.
Additionally, in the same time frame there were an overall of 316 504 testing were carried out across the nation, bringing the total to more than 88.87 crore.
As of this morning, Covid-19 vaccination coverage had surpassed 214.55 crore.
More than 4.05 million adolescents have been vaccinated with the initial dose of Covid-19 since the beginning of vaccination drives for this age group.
