Mumbai 7th September : Senior actresses Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka will be starring in the forthcoming thriller series ‘Hush” which will air on Prime Video from September 22.What is unique about the web series directed by Tanuja Chandra, is that it has an ensemble of cast and crew composed of women from the costume designer and production designer, to the co-producer and associate producer as well as the security team.
The writer Juhi Chaturvedi (‘Gulabo Sitabo’, ‘Piku and ‘Sardar Uddham Singh’) has scripted the dialogues.Kopal Naithani is the director of two episodes, and Tanuja Chandra who is also executive producer, has directed the remaining episodes.
In addition, the story was written by Shikhaa Sharma (‘Jalsa’ Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Jalsa and “Sherni”) who is one of the executive producers of the show.
“Hush Hush” is about a group of women who live life to the fullest extent.
Their idyllic lives are shattered when an unexpected incident exposes details from their past and could threaten everything that is precious to them.
Intricately knit in the web of lies, deceit, and fighting patriarchy, the tale examines the brewing storm beneath the seemingly tranquil appearance of the lavish life of women like these women.
Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and co-created by Tanuja Chandra The seven-episode series features Soha Ali Khan Pataudi Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami, and Karishma Tanna in the lead roles.
