Seoul 6 September : Two people were killed and ten others remain missing after typhoon Hinnamnor was able to leave South Korea, authorities said on Tuesday.The 11th typhoon of this year swept through the country’s southeastern region in which the majority of the deaths were reported, as per Xinhua news agency.
The typhoon was moved out of the region’s southeastern region early on Tuesday morning.
A woman in her 70s was discovered dead in Pohang around 270 km to the southeast of Seoul, the capital city.

In Pohang eight people were missing after entering flood-strewn underground parking areas to take away their cars.
A third person was missing after being washed away in rapid torrents.

In Ulsan located 310 kilometers southeast of Seoul the 25-year-old man was missing after he fell into a river.
Another victim was injured when struck by a fallen signboard in Siheung around 30 kilometers southwest of Seoul.
8 commercial and 71 homes were submerged across the country, and four homes were destroyed.
Eight landslides have been reported and more than 200 public structures were damaged.
Five fishing vessels capsized and 1,320 acres of agricultural land was flooded in the aftermath of the storm.
More than 66,000 homes experienced power cuts, and more than 2,900 residents, most of them in the southeastern region were evacuated temporarily.
An total of 183 vessels operating on 122 sea routes stopped sailing and 251 flights were cancelled.
