Ranchi 5th September : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday won the trust vote despite the threat of exclusion in the case of an office of profit case.Soren received 48 votes, while the BJP quit during House proceedings.
A little earlier in the day the Chief Minister Hemant Soren tabled a confidence motion in the Jharkhand Assembly.He asserted that the BJP tried to recruit UPA MLAs.
That was the reason that prompted him to take this step.
The Chief Minister slammed the BJP for causing confusion in the state.
On the motion Soren declared, “BJP wants to create division in the state and create fear, but until the UPA government is in place, the BJP’s strategy will not work.”
The majority of the UPA MLAs were sent to Raipur and arrived in Ranchi on Sunday evening , amid the threat of poaching.
Soren’s government is operating with the backing of Congress as well as the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
