Rajkot (Saurashtra) Rajkot (Saurashtra) 3 : Attack on AAP’s General Secretary Manoj Sorathia was nothing but an indication of the BJP’s fear of the growing popularity of his party, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday.At at a press conference during a press conference, the AAP chief executive said that following the assault on Sorathia the party conducted an investigation in Surat city in order to decide its future.
According to the survey the party is expected to win seven of 12 seats in the city in the Assembly elections, he said.
“But the growing recognition of AAP will expose its leaders to further assaults of the BJP.Not just AAP leadership, but all who support and campaign for it will also be targeted,” Kejriwal stated.
He expressed his worry that BJP could launch massive attacks on people to discourage them from voting for AAP.
On the evening of Ganesh Chaturthi Sorathia was allegedly attacked by BJP employees while he was reviewing preparations at the Ganesh pandal.
“We aren’t Congressmen to be tolerant of such assaults, we are the followers of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Sahid Bhagat Singh, and are capable of giving a logical response,” Kejriwal warned.
In the present, he said the people of the state are now ambassadors of the party.He cited an incident as an example.
he stated that recently at the time the Prime Minister spoke at an event for the public in Bhuj the city, thousands of state transport buses were diverted.Meanwhile, bus conductors and bus drivers called on the people to bring in the change of guard.
