Yogi Govt for a survey of unrecognised madrassas

Lucknow 1st, September : The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to conduct an inquiry in unrecognized madrassas to find details on the amount of students teachers, curriculum, and relationship with any non-government entity.
The reason for the survey of madrassas that are not recognized is to provide the necessary facilities for students.

Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Waqf Department, Danish Azad Ansari, stated that the order also provides baby care and maternity leave to women employed in madrasas in the context of the rules that are in force in the Department of Secondary Education and Basic Education.

District magistrates have all been issued with instructions on the survey.

The examination of unrecognised madrassas is expected to be finished by the 5th of October by teams comprised of representatives of the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) and District Minority Officers.

Once the survey has been completed the results will be delivered to the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) and then the ADM will deliver the consolidated reports to District Magistrates (DMs).
