Ottawa 1st, September : Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced minor changes to the cabinet.In an announcement the Prime Minister announced that Filomena Tassi, the minister of public procurement and services, will be the minister in charge of the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario according to Xinhua news agency.
Helena Jaczek, minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario She will be the new Minister of procurement and public services, as per the announcement.
The changes were prompted by Tassi’s desire to stay longer in Southern Ontario due to family reasons, Trudeau was quoted as saying in the statement.
The cabinet shuffle of Wednesday marks the first time that the Cabinet of the Prime Minister is being reshuffled since the 2021 elections.
