Chennai 30 August : A well-known Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap applauded director Pa Ranjith’s forthcoming Tamil film”Natchathiram Nagargiradhu,” declaring that it is an emotional film about love and how it must be able to endure beyond all prejudice and hate.On Instagram, Kashyap wrote, “Saw Natchathiram Nagargiradhu last night.The version that is uncensored.This film is playing inside Pa Ranjith’s head.
“There is a sense of order in his mind that is chaotic.There are a lot of his personalities are in conversation and fighting with each with each other.They want to be.And in the pursuit of being, they must to assert their rights and stand the ground.
“It’s an ode to love and how it has to be able to endure the rigors of hatred and prejudice.Rene in the film is infused with the essence of Pa Ranjith.
This is his personal work and also my favourite Pa Ranjith movie.
“He is at his most naked and vulnerable in this movie.Special mention to all the amazing actors, the cinematographer and music and editor as well as the entire crew.”
It’s not the first time a Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap has been influenced by the work of a Tamil film.Anurag Kashyap often claims that his film Gangs of Wasseypur was inspired by director Sasikumar’s Tamil film Subramaniyapuram.
