New Delhi, Aug 30 : United States Senator Jon Ossoff arrived in India on Tuesday, on an eight-day tour to strengthen bilateral relations between both nations.”I am heading this US delegation to build the relationship between our two nations and to meet the future generation of Indian leaders,” Ossoff, who is from Georgia, the State of Georgia said.
“We are part of the Indian American community in Georgia.Will also be working to show the area where the growing Indian diaspora is an active and well-loved component of the community we live in,” he stated.

At the age of 35 Senator Ossoff is the youngest US Senator in three decades.In his visit to India, Ossoff will work to increase the scientific, economic and cultural ties as well as security between the US and India.

Georgia is a state that of Georgia has more than a million Indian Americans.This month, Ossoff sent a message to the Indian people who were celebrating the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence Day, where he spoke about the relationship between India and Georgia, and emphasized the importance of strengthening connections.
