Chennai 30 August : Producer and actress Radhikaa Sarathkumar, who made a prayer for the legendary director Bharathirajaa who has been hospitalized for a long time, on Tuesday said that prayers are powerful and she was pleased to have her director making progress to recovery.On Twitter, Radhikaa said, “Prayers are powerful and have positive vibrations (sic).
I am so happy to meet my director today Bharathiraja on the way to recovery.Always an individual I look up to I am so sad to see him suffering from illness.Thanks to everyone for their prayers and to the MGM hospital for their treatment.”
Radhikaa posted an online video of her praying in France for the legendary director.In the video clip she could be heard saying “For the director who set a light in my life” Bharathirajaa sir I’m lighting the candle in Lourdes church and offering my heartfelt prayers for his well-being.Please pray for him.”
The actress also wrote, “En iniya director Bharathiraja Avargaley (My dear director Bharathiraja sir) My special prayers for you in the Lourde church in France.Get well soon, hope to meet you soon, hale and healthy.I miss talking to you.
It was Bharathirajaa who introduced Radhika as an actress in the Tamil film ‘Kizhakke pogum rail’ in 1978.The film was a huge success and played in theaters for the entire year! Radhika was a huge success and became an famous actress in Tamil film industry.
