New Delhi, Aug 30 : Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) have become the third franchise owner in the second season of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) to be played in India starting on September 16.The second season of the league will feature a four-team franchise with Adani Group and GMR Group having already purchased teams each.
LLC will begin at Eden Gardens in Kolkata followed by Lucknow, New Delhi, Cuttack and Jodhpur.The play-off venues as well as finals have yet to be determined.
Ranjan Pai, the chairman of MEMG stated, “We are excited on this partnership with Legends Cricket League.This partnership with the sport that is loved by all Indian will allow us to reach out and positively affect the lives of fellow Indians to fulfill their goals by providing world-class education and healthcare services, as well as providing the financial security of hospitalisation with health insurance.”
Vivek Khushalani, Chairman of LLC declared, “We are happy to join forces with Manipal Group as our third franchise.Being associated with the legendary cricketers will help the brand more.”
