Dubai 30 Aug : Former India captain Virat Kohli’s gesture of handing an autographed jersey to Pakistan pace bowler Haris Rauf has been praised by fans who appreciate the gesture with the footage of the moment shared by the Indian cricket board following the Asia Cup win over the arch-rivals.Virat is seen engaging with the 28-year-old right-arm speed bowler following India’s five-wicket win against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium, before Virat’s charismatic personality signs and presents the pacer with a jersey.
The BCCI posted the video of the event on its social media accounts and tweeted “The game may be ended, but such moments shine bright.A touching gesture by @imVkohli when he hands the signed jersey to Haris Rauf from Pakistan.Haris Rauf following the #INDvPAK match.”
Many thousands of fans took to Twitter to show their appreciation for Kohli’s gesture.”Wholesome moment” posted a fan one, while others wrote “The things we admire to see.”

Kohli was not the most impressive player in the pursuit of 147 in the Asia Cup opener against Pakistan however, he played a remarkable performance of 35 as India defeated Pakistan with only two balls to spare.
Rauf did not make an awful lot of any impact in the match He scored an unbeaten 13 in the second innings and not taking any wicket in his four overs.He conceded 35 runs in an economic rate of 8.75.
