Chennai 27 August : Director Arivazhagan’s long-awaited action-thriller ‘Borderr’ with Arun Vijay in the lead role will premiere on October 5 in Vijayadasami’s movie, the makers announced on Saturday.The film has high expectations because the team of Arivazhagan as director and actor Arun Vijay have managed to create back-to-back hits.
The director and actor first worked together on the thriller about a medico-criminal “Kuttram 23,” which was a huge success.
The recently released web series “TamilRockerz” again featured the actor and director working together.
Because of having produced successful projects in succession the expectations for their next project together have increased.
On Twitter, Arun Vijay, who posted the official announcement of release date from the production house stated, “Really happy that my long-awaited film “Borrder” will be available to you soon!
The film was originally scheduled to be released in the summer of 2020.
It went through a lengthy delay because of the Covid caused lockdown.The team, which was responsible for shooting an extensive sequence of footage on the streets of Delhi had to return to Delhi to finish it.
The team also shot its final schedule at an arena in Delhi for one week.Sources have said that the climax fight scene features Arun Vijay as well as Regina Cassandra.
After overcoming obstacles The team quickly bounced back to complete the film.
In addition to Arun Vijay the film also stars actor Regina Cassandra and newcomer Steffy Patel in the lead roles.
