Thiruvananthapuram on August 27 : After an unprovoked bomb was launched at AKG Centre, the CPI-M’s headquarters for the state, in July, miscreants riding motorbikes hurled stones at the Thiruvananthapuram district office of the party in the early morning hours of Saturday.
A car belonging to District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan was slightly damaged in the incident.

In the office of the district, Democratic Front convenor E.P.Jayarajan claimed it was the work of the BJP/RSS.

The CPI-M had accused the Congress with attacking its office in the July incident.

After the attack today Chief Minister Pinarayi Vjayan went on social media to share the information.

He stated that these actions are being carried out to disrupt tranquility in the state, and they will be addressed with by the backing of people.

He also stated that police have been asked to make sure that the people who committed the crime are brought to court.

A protest rally will be held in all local centers of the district.

Responding to the attack district BJP president V.V.Rajesh stated that it’s not an untruth that both the CPI-M as well as the Vijayan government are experiencing tough times in the of the saga of numerous allegations, and their cadres are very upset.

“So in order to divert the attention of the public the party is resorting to these tactics.The same CPI-M members who attacked their party’s headquarters have been behind this as well.

If they attempt to respond by threatening our offices we’ll be forced to adopt tough actions,” he added.
