“Everything is prepared!” Lukashenko said.

The nation is now able to confront threats in various of different ways in the context of rising tensions with the West, he said.

The US as a member of NATO is currently transferring military technology into Eastern Europe as well, the dpa news agency quoted President as saying.

“They must realize that no planes, helicopters or helicopters can help them if they keep their aggressive route,” he said.

Lukashenko has repeatedly stated that Poland and other states posed threats to Belarus.

It is not clear of this, however.

Belarus helps Russia in its conflict with Ukraine in addition to in that it provides military bases from where attacks can be conducted on the neighboring country.

In terms of economics the former Soviet Republic is dependent on Russia.
