Patna Patna, August 25, : After having won the trust vote in Bihar Assembly, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is urging his Mahagathbandhan allies to unite to in removing BJP from the Centre.A meeting of Mahagathbandhan’s top leaders at the residence of the chief minister on Wednesday, discussed strategies to eliminate the Narendra Modi-led central government in 2024’s Lok Sabha polls.
Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh Finance Minister Vijay Chaudhary, HAM head Jitan Ram Manjhi Congress president Ajit Sharma and the leaders of left-wing parties in addition to MLCs and MLAs of all members of the alliance attended the meeting.
Nitish Kumar also said that Tejashwi Yadav is the second in his command, and he could take the decision in the absence of Nitish Kumar.
Participating in the discussion Tejashwi Yadav stated that Mahagathbandhan is aiming to dislodge BJP from the center, and the alliance partners of Mahagathbandhan must remain together.This will not only send an uncompromising signal to BJP but also inspire the leaders of opposition parties in the rest of the country to join forces against the forces of communalism.
