Jaipur 25th August : The National Scout and Guide Jamboree’ an event of immense magnitude will be held from January 4 to 10, 2023 in Rohat in Rajasthan’s Pali district.More than 35,000 guides and scouts from all across the nation including 1,500 from different nations, will take part in the 18th National Jamboree to be hosted by the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides.Rajasthan is the venue for this huge event after the 66-year wait.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sanctioned Rs 24.70 crore to host the Jamboree.Additionally, approval has been granted to pay Rs 10 crore of the sanctioned sum to the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides.
Many competitions such as State Gate, Pioneering Project, Adventure Valley, Global Village Development, Integration Games, March Past, Colour Party, Folk Dance, Physical Performance, State Day Exhibition and Performance by the Band Performance, Rock Climbing, Parasailing and Water Activities will be held in the seven-day festival.
The Chief Minister had announced Rs.25 crore in the budget of 2022-23 to fund the National Jamboree.In July, Gehlot also released the poster for the event.
In the process, he took feedback from the officials about how to prepare for the Jamboree.
