New Delhi, Aug 24 : Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda discusses the reasons why his “Liger” co-star Ananya Panday believes in the existence of Mermaids.He joked that “Ananya believes in mermaids and she is a huge fan of the creatures.” In response, Ananya replied: “Yes they exist, and Vijay believes in aliens.”
During their film’s promotional event in the Capital in the Capital, the two Vijay and Ananya shared some BTS moments with IANS.
The “Student of the Year 2” actress, Vijay said: “She is hardworking and committed to the cinema.In addition, she is quite imaginative like a child, and at times, her imagination may be a lot.And sometimes it can make her hilarious.”
Ananya has played various kinds of roles in films like “Student of the Year 2”, “Khaali Peeli” as well as “Gehraiyaan”.
Although certain of her films did not do well in the box office however, there is a lot of expectations she has in “Liger”.In addition, she wanted to be part of commercial films like this, and so having an opportunity to be a part of it made her feel happy.
Ananya stated: “I try to give my best in the majority of the films, but whether it does well at the box-office or not is in my control.I’m not able to take the pressure, but of course, I’ll try to get better.”
She stated: “With this film, it’s a complete commercial masala movie and I’ve always wanted to be a part of this kind of film.This is the most exciting thing I’ve ever done and I’m very excited about the viewers liking the film and also my work.”
The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh The sports action film stars Deverakonda as the title MMA fighter boxer, along with Ananya Panday.American boxing icon Mike Tyson is seen making appearances in the movie, and it is scheduled to be released on the 25th of August.
