Mumbai 24 August : The actor Ishwak Singh, who received favorable reviews for his performance in the online series ‘Rocket Brothers’, is nearing the end of his 10 years in the business.The actor credits another popular streaming series “Paatal Loo” for bringing him the love of the viewers and recognition.In the film ‘Rocket Boys’ Ishwak was Vikram Sarabhai, who is the father of the Indian space program, but it was in ‘Paatal Lok’ that he was in, which was the film in which he played the role of Imran Ansari an officer who is promoted to IPS and is able to attract attention due to his work.
The actor is incredibly thankful for the opportunities which have been offered to him.However, he admits he has a special place for the film ‘Paatal Lok’ which made him a major breakthrough.
“It’s nearly a decade since my first venture in the field of film started but it was “Paatal Loo” which made me a star in the field,” he said.
“It provided me with the identity that I have always wanted as an actor based on the part I was given , and the recognition that was given to me.I am certainly grateful for the many other opportunities I’ve received in the past, as without those roles, I wouldn’t get to where I am now.Sometimes it’s that one part, one person that opens the door for you.” he added.
“Paatal Loot” is a web-based crime thriller series that was released in 2020.It features Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi and Swastika Mukherjee.
The series also marks the debut of Clean Slate Filmz (a production house headed by Anushka Sharma) in production of television series for the digital medium.The series is available for streaming through Prime Video.
