Mumbai 23rd August : The comedian Sunil Grover will make an appearance on ‘India’s Comedy Champion’.He discusses his experiences of appearing on the show, and describes the contestants the James Bond of comedy’.
He declares: “I had a lot of fun! The contestants all wore bow-ties and I was feeling like they were all the James Bond of comedy! My heart pounded at the idea of who would be the winner.We laughed lots and had a great time.”
On what he loved most about the show, and what was the thing that attracted him to it Sunil Grover stated: “The biggest USP of this show is that it has plenty of variety.Someone is performing mimicry or ventriloquist, somebody sings their jokes, somebody is reciting’shayaris’ the ability to observe is well displayed, so watching this plethora of comedy was a blast.”
He further explains that the show provided comedians a platform to showcase their talents and be able to compete with one another.
“All of them are ‘purane Chawal’ (old rice).They’ve been in the comedy business for a long time.We have seen them for many years.It could be the first time that certain people, but not for all.”
