Mumbai 23 August : The comedian Sunil Grover has made an appearance on ‘India’s Comedy Champion’.He discusses his experiences of participating on the show.
He describes the contestants the James Bond of comedy’.
He states: “I had a lot of fun! All contestants wore bow ties and I was feeling like they were all the James Bond of comedy! My heart pounded at the idea of who would be the winner.We laughed lots and had a lot of fun.”
On what he loved most about the show, and what was the thing that attracted him to it Sunil Grover stated: “The biggest USP of this show is that it has plenty of variety.Someone is performing mimicry or ventriloquist, somebody sings their jokes, somebody is reciting’shayaris’ someone’s observation skills are developed, so watching this bouquet of comedy was a blast.”
He adds that the show was comedians a platform to showcase their talents and be able to compete with one another.
“All of them are ‘purane Chawal’ (old rice).They’ve been in the comedy business for a long time.We have seen them for quite a while.It could be the first time it happens to certain people, but not for all.”
