Moscow 22 August : The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that it had detained an Islamic State (IS) suicide bomber who was plotting to carry out a terrorist attack in India according to the media reported.In an official statement in a statement, the FSB stated they believed the IS terrorist was planning the “attack against an individual of the Indian elite leadership” according to Sputnik News Agency.
The report further stated that the suspect suicide terrorist was identified as “a native of the nation in the Central Asian region, who was planning to commit an act of terror in the form of blowing himself up at one of the representatives of the ruling circles of India”.
The FSB claimed that the terrorist was contacted by an IS leader in Turkey this year.
The IS is outlawed in Russia.
