Chennai 21 Aug : Actress Shraddha Das who makes her debut in Tamil cinema with the bilingual Tamil-Telugu film “Arrtham,” says she was able to make her character in the film to be easy to perform.The actress who spoke at a press event hosted by the unit of director Manikanth Thallaguti’s ‘Arrtham’ stated: “I have never worked in Tamil cinema prior to this moment.I’ve done about 40 movies in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Bengali however it’s my first film in Tamil.I can’t understand one word in Tamil.”
She added: “In Telugu, I have played a variety of glamorous roles, but in this movie, I had the chance to play a role that required performance after an extended period.I played psychiatrist in the film.It was simple for me to play this role since I hold earned a degree in journalism and psychology.”
The actress heaped praise on her co-star Mahendran the actress stated: “An actor like Mahendran is so refined and mature.In a film about horror like this I needed to keep my facial expressions subdued and subtle, and also use my eyes.”
The director thanked her for granting her the chance, the actress told the director she was she was thrilled to make her make her debut in Tamil in this film.
