Karthik Subbaraj makes a foray into Malayalam film with “Attention Please’

Chennai 20 August : A well-known Tamil film producer and director Karthik Subbaraj on Saturday announced that his production company Stone Bench Films had forayed into the Malayalam film industry with director Jithin Isaac Thomas’s forthcoming film “Attention Please”.
Tweeting on Twitter, Karthik Subbaraj, who has directed a number of critically acclaimed superhits that include the Vijay Sethupathi starrer “Pizza,” Siddhartha-starrer “Jigart and the acclaimed Rajinikanth-starrer”Petta,” stated: “We are elated to reveal our first venture into the Malayalam Industry with ‘Attention Please produced by the gifted Jithin Thomas and his team.The film is produced by Kaarthekeyens and scheduled to release in theaters on August 26.”

The well-known director also shared a trailer of the film which revealed that the film will not only a hard-hitting film, but likely to raise awareness about the social issues.

The trailer starts with an individual who is planning to create film, and then recounts the narrative of the film the people who are around him.He describes a mother who raises her son with difficult times following the death of her husband.When the son passes his twelfth standard and passes with excellent marks the mother and son choose to commemorate by visiting a beach.

On the beach, people look at the mother and son and begin to hit the son, requesting to know about their relationship.

The mother claims that her son is hers, but the people who are engaging in moral policing aren’t in the mood to listen .They make an eagle of slippers for father and mother.The boy is furious and is then beaten with an iron rod.

The person who is telling the story concludes by with: “When the son awakens the next morning, all he is able to perceive in the front of his face is the ocean.”

The brutal trailer has increased expectations for the movie, which features Vishnu Govind, Sreejith B, Anand Manmadhan, Jobin Paul, Jicky Paul and Athira Kallingal, among other actors.The soundtrack is composed written by Arun Vijai, and cinematography by Himal Mohan.
