However the world of social media did not like his basic image and flooded his profile with memes.

Zuckerberg has stated on Friday that significant improvements to Horizon and avatar graphics will be coming soon.

“I am aware that the image I shared earlier in the week was fairly basic .It was snapped very quickly to celebrate the launch of Horizon.Horizon’s graphic designs in Horizon can be capable of more than that even on headsets and Horizon is rapidly improving,” he said.

One Twitter user described his avatar “on the same level with the Teletubbies game on the Sony PlayStation One”, another user said that in the Fortnite game “you are able to play as Goku with shotgun”.

Zuckerberg earlier said he is looking forward to “seeing people explore and create an immersive universe, and bring this to other nations in the near future”.

“We would like everyone to be in control of the experience they have in Horizon Worlds, so we’re always looking to improve our tools and features to allow users to customize their experiences,” Meta said in an article on the blog.

Recently, Meta announced a new setting called Voice Mode in Horizon Worlds that allows users to have an increased control of their experience.

In order to enhance its usability, the tech giant Meta has also come up with a brand new system for rating content to cater for “mature viewers”.
