Zelensky stated that Ukrainian diplomats scientists, diplomats as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) were working on sending an IAEA mission to the troubled power plant, the dpa news agency reported.

“Only complete transparency and (a) controlled environment within and around the (Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant) will ensure an eventual return to normal security for the Ukrainian state as well as for the international community and for the IAEA,” he said.

The IAEA visit to the plant will be one of the topics of the gathering with Zelensky, Guterres and and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, scheduled to be held on Thursday in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.
