Mumbai 17 August : Actress Shefali Shah made an announcement via social media Wednesday that she was positive for Covid.The actress, who was photographed in the Alia Bhatt-directed film ‘Darlings’ revealed the news of her health on her Instagram stories.
She said: “I have tested positive for Covid-19.I immediately removed myself from the area and am now in quarantine at home.
I adhere to all safety guidelines as per the advice of my physician.I am requesting anyone who comes in contact with me to be tested immediately.”
“Darlings” is a dark comedy-drama written by Jasmeet K.Reen.The film is produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt (in her debut film) and Gaurav Verma under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Eternal Sunshine Productions.The film also features Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew.
Shefali will be next to be seen in the second season of the critically acclaimed Netflix show “Delhi Crime,” where she will reprise her part of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi.
“Delhi Crime 2,” as its predecessor, was influenced by real events and is directed by director and showrunner Tanuj Chopra.
The show also stars Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Yashaswini Dayama, SidharthBhardwaj Gopal Dutt Denzil Smith, Tillotama Home, Jatin Goswami, Vyom Yadav and Ankit Sharma.
“Delhi Crime 2′ is set to be released on the streaming platform Netflix on August 26 2022.
