New Delhi, Aug 17 : In a shocking move, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari as well as Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have been removed from the newly formed BJP Parliamentary Board.BJP Chief J P Nadda on Wednesday reconfigured the Parliamentary Board and the Central Election Committee (CEC).
Top officials Shahnawaz Hussain and Jual Oram were removed out of the CEC.Nitin Gadkari, an ex-president of the party is believed to be close to top the top brass of the RSS.He is also the current Member of Parliament from Nagpur.
Eleven members of the newly formed Parliamentary Board are party president Nadda and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and Sarbananda Sonowal and former Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa OBC Morcha national president K Laxman, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Sudha Yadav, Satyanarayan Jatia, and general secretary of the national office (organisation) B L Santhosh.
The 15-member Central Election Committee includes the 11 members of the Parliamentary Board and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, Om Mathur and Vanathi Srinivasan.
