The Houthis employed Katyusha rockets as well as artillery shells and booby trapped drones to strike military sites controlled by government forces in various Yemeni regions which killed four members of the government forces and injuring 19 others the report said.

The current truce entered into effect for the very first time on April 2,.It was extended for two months from June 2 and then extended for another two months on August 2.

Although the truce has largely been upheld, the internationally-recognised government and the Houthi militia frequently trade accusations of violations that include sporadic armed attacks.

Yemen is trapped in civil war since the latter part of 2014, when Iran’s Houthi militia took control of several provinces in the north and pushed the Saudi-backed government to step down of the capital city of Sanaa.

The conflict has killed hundreds of thousands of people, forced the displacement of 4 million, and brought the nation to the edge of hunger.
