Los Angeles, Aug 13 : Hollywood star Idris Elba has spoken out about the traumatic experience he experienced during a private shower with his wife Sabrina after he was interrupted by bat.The actor, who is 49, plays the lead role in the upcoming film “Beast,” discussed the shocking moment that occurred when he was filming in South Africa.He was later quoted as saying that he was horrified by the unexpected guest, as reported by mirror.co.uk.
The ‘Luther’ actor also admitted that Sabrina who he got married to in 2019 and has not allowed him to be able to forget his initial reactions to the animal, and that she “makes the most fun of him to today’.
In an interview with Men’s Journal, Idris said: “I was shooting in Limpopo.My wife was there , and we were planning to have a good time in the shower.
“Some morning romance You know? She was able to get in and I followed her to close the door.But then I looked up and was clinging to the shower door’s inside handle was this bat.
“A tiny wet bat.I’m not a fan of bats.It was a bit scary as ***.I was able to jump out of the shower at such a speed.My wife laughs of me to this day.’You have left me in the shower with bat!”
The actor explained that he was actually developing an aversion of bats in Australia in the year 2019.
Elba has been busy promoting his upcoming film Beast which has him playing the role of widowed husband traveling to South Africa with his daughters and must face an elusive lion that is following the girls.
